Sometimes It’s Okay to be a Quitter

Removing the Stigma of Addiction

Choosing to quit harmful substances isn’t a sign of weakness — it’s a powerful step toward healing, hope, and a healthier future.

Clear lungs, clear mind, bright future.

EHLPC’s newest campaign. This campaign is intended to reduce the stigma of addiction and encourage youth to quit smoking and/or “vaping” nicotine and marijuana. When you hear the word “quitter” it is typically a negative connotation, but in this context, it is a positive!

How the program helps:

  • Breaking the societal stigma of addiction
  • Assists in overcoming internalized stigma
  • Acknowledge the problem openly
  • Promotes friend, family and community support
