Operation Parent Handbooks

Operation Parent Handbooks are available to all parents/caregivers of youth in East Haddam / Moodus. Operation Parent is a national nonprofit that exists to empower parents (and caregivers) to fully engage in conversations with their K-12 children. They created the Operation Parent Handbook and also offer free monthly parent webinars with experts on topics from technology to substance use. We encourage you to check them out at www.operationparent.org.

These handbooks provide evidence-based information along with advice, talking points, and tips for caregivers of school-aged kids. Topics include: Social Media & Technology, Substance Use, Relationships, Mental Health, Gaming, and more.
